1. Introduction

Welcome to CampWrench! These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and CampWrench ("we," "our," "us," or "Company") regarding your use of our RV troubleshooting service and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

CampWrench helps recreational vehicle owners diagnose and repair problems with their vehicles by providing:

  • Troubleshooting guides organized by symptom and system
  • An AI assistant that answers questions about a specific rig
  • Reference material drawn from RV owner and service documentation
  • Guidance on when a repair should be handed to a certified technician

Our Service uses artificial intelligence to interpret your description of a problem and produce diagnostic guidance.

2.1 Safety and Limitations

The Service is informational. It is not a substitute for your vehicle's own manual, for a certified RV technician, or for your own judgment.

RV systems include propane, 120V electrical, hydraulic and pressurized components that can cause serious injury, fire, carbon monoxide exposure or death if handled incorrectly. Specifications and procedures vary by manufacturer, model and model year, and the Service may not reflect your exact vehicle.

You are solely responsible for deciding whether to act on any guidance, for verifying it against your own documentation, and for stopping and engaging a qualified professional when a task exceeds your competence. Do not use the Service to perform work you are not qualified to perform.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into contracts
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law

  • Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available
  • Log out of your account at the end of each session on shared devices

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Service Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Current plan details and pricing are available on our website.

4.2 Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a free trial period. Free trials are limited to one per user/organization and may have restricted features or usage limits.

4.3 Billing and Payments

  • Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as specified
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice
  • Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes

4.4 No Refunds

All sales are final. We do not provide refunds for any subscription fees, except as may be required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges, but cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of previously charged fees.

4.5 Account Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account for non-payment. Upon payment of outstanding amounts, we will restore access to your account if technically feasible.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

5.1 Permitted Uses

You may use our Service to research, diagnose and repair problems with recreational vehicles you own, operate, rent or service.

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or unethical purposes
  • Attempt to generate content that violates laws or regulations
  • Use the Service to create misleading or deceptive repair or safety information
  • Abuse or overload our AI systems with excessive or inappropriate requests

Technical Violations:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

Content Violations:

  • Upload or input illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory content
  • Violate any person's privacy or intellectual property rights
  • Share false or misleading safety or repair information
  • Use the Service to spam or harass others

Commercial Violations:

  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service to provide commercial repair advice to third parties without disclosing that it is AI-generated

5.3 Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor use of our Service and investigate violations. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, algorithms, designs, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload or input into the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and analyze your User Content to provide the Service and improve our AI capabilities.

6.3 AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI systems based on your inputs is provided for your own use in maintaining and repairing your vehicle. You should review and verify all AI-generated content against your own documentation before acting on it, particularly where safety is involved.

6.4 Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, we may use them without compensation or obligation to you.

7. Data and Privacy

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10.2 Exclusion of Damages

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost business opportunities.

10.3 AI-Related Disclaimers

You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
  • AI recommendations should be evaluated using your professional judgment
  • We are not responsible for business decisions made based on AI-generated content
  • The accuracy and applicability of AI-generated guidance may vary by vehicle, model year and component

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third party's rights
  • Any content you submit to the Service

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to any refund.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • Your access to the Service will cease
  • We may delete your account and data (subject to our Privacy Policy and legal requirements)
  • These Terms will continue to apply to any disputes or claims arising before termination

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

The governing law and venue for these Terms will be specified here once RV Assistant's operating entity is established. Until then, nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your own country or state of residence.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: Before filing any formal claim, please contact us at hello@campwrench.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly. In our experience most disputes are a misunderstanding about what the Service does, and those are quicker to fix by email than by anything else.

If that does not resolve it: You retain whatever rights and remedies are available to you under applicable law. We are not asking you to waive the right to bring a claim, and we are not requiring arbitration.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

14.5 Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes through:

  • Prominent notice on our website or in the Service
  • In-app notifications

Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
